About IANTC

The International Adventure & Nature-based Therapies Conference (IANTC) takes place every 3 years, bringing together practitioners, researchers, academics, and students for a dynamic 5-day programme of events.

The main conference will include keynote speaker sessions, experiential (active) workshops, international research, poster presentations, and a range of opportunities to connect, gather, share, and celebrate the community of international adventure and nature-based therapies.

Following in the IATC footsteps

IANTC is part of the International Association for Adventure & Nature-based Therapies (IAANT). For many years, a collective of passionate people involved in this space has been coming together to support the ethical development and informed expansion of adventure and nature-based therapy practices worldwide. A network of national representatives have been driving the effort, formerly known as ATIC, the Adventure Therapy International Committee.

The triannual conference, previously termed the International Adventure Therapy Conference (IATC), has been held in 10 different locations, growing each year; inspiring collaboration, sharing knowledge, and deepening connections with each event.
